The first ever
AI configurator
for SIM Racing
Equipment
In this project, I worked as both the product designer and the main point of contact between the client and the design team.
I was responsible for visualizing the client's ideas, proposing creative UX/UI solutions, and shaping the overall look and feel of the app. This included everything from color exploration and typography choices to suggesting animation concepts that aligned with the playful tone of the product.I led design presentations, facilitated feedback sessions, and maintained close communication with both the client and the developers, helping ensure smooth handoff and consistent implementation across all iterations.
RSS is an AI-powered web platform that helps sim racers build a complete racing simulator setup — from displays and cockpits to the smallest hardware components.
Based on the user’s goals, experience level, existing equipment, and budget, the system generates a tailored setup and guides users to partner websites to purchase the recommended components.
The project is structured into three main parts: a landing page that introduces the product and guides users to the Sim Rig Builder, an interactive questionnaire where users define their needs to generate a personalized simulator setup, and a secondary lightweight landing page created for marketing and promotional purposes.

The visual style is built around a high-contrast color palette with a dark background and bright neon accents. This approach enhances focus, creates a strong sense of depth, and reflects the atmosphere of sim racing. The typeface features a subtle slant combined with solid, stable letterforms, conveying speed, motion, and technical precision without sacrificing readability.

& Contribution
I worked on this project together with another designer from my team. My role focused on overseeing the overall design process, supporting research and analysis, and defining the visual direction. I was responsible for creating initial sketches and concepts to establish the style and design foundation, which were then further developed by the second designer, who handled the detailed execution and technical implementation.
